If you've been looking for a photographer that cares just as much about the people as capturing the photo, you're in the right place.
In 2020, I created South Lume Creative because I saw a gap. Many people could take a picture, but very few were connecting with their clients in a way that made them feel seen and celebrated.
Before photography, I spent a decade as a publicist. Not only do I know how to spot the moments that matter, but I understand everything that goes into planning unforgettable milestones.
I'm also a proud DFW native. Growing up in Arlington, it is my mission to give back to the city that gave so much to me.
Whether I’m working with a team, a senior, or a brand, my goal is always the same: to create images that feel intentional and true to who you are, while always bringing the joy to uplift the room.

My idea for South Lume started after an unforgettable mission trip to South Africa. While there, I learned to truly live out the verse "let your light shine before men" (Matthew 5:16) through photography as I captured the camp and ministries. Now, I try to make that my every day mission by taking photos that illuminate the best part of who we are.
Hence, the South (ode to Africa) and Lume (short for illuminate).
