I am so excited to share this 2023 high school senior session that I got to do back in May. First off, the spring is just the perfect time to do senior shoots. Texas is unpredictable like a two-year-old so I love to have more consistency in the spring.
Madison wanted to do her photos in Las Colinas and have a variety of locations to choose from. I KNEW that we had to do the Mandalay Canal Walk but I also convinced her to try some other locations.
We started at the Irving Convention Center. This place is AMAZING and is such a cool building. I highly recommend coming during the week when it is nearly empty. We had no problem exploring the property before heading to our next location. Once you climb the massive set of stairs, there are truly a ton of spots to be creative.
Before she got to the shoot, I noticed that there was a cute pink hotel across the street. One of her outfits happened to be pink and I convinced her to head over there for the next part of the senior shoot. Honestly, this was my favorite spot!
Finally, we made a quick drive to the Mandalay Canal Walk. If you don’t know, this spot is ICONIC for photographers. Luckily there weren’t many photogs this day! There are a ton of options for seniors at this location, which makes it popular.
A senior photoshoot in Las Colinas is a must for students in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I can’t wait to shoot here again!
