Hey, ya’ll I’m back with another list of my favorite spots. This time we are at SMU! I have had so many amazing people in my life graduate from Southern Methodist University. The best part about this is that I get to be on campus A LOT and campus is gorgeous.
So today, I’ve gathered together my fav spots so that you can take the perfect senior or graduation picture at SMU.
1. Dallas Hall
Did you even go to SMU if you didn’t take a photo in front of Dallas Hall? Dallas Hall is so iconic on campus and is the perfect spot to kick off your photoshoot session.
2. Turner Centennial Quad
Right in the middle of campus is Turner Centennial Quad which is massive! But there are so many spots to get creative, including the little promenade in the middle.
3. The Blanton Building
When you drive up to SMU’s campus, Blanton is literally the first thing to greet you. It gives similar vibes to Dallas Hall but it has the beautiful and classic SMU buildings surrounding it. Oh and a fountain that most seniors get in as a tradition.
4. The Law Quad
I actually stumbled on this quad by accident but it’s my favorite spot. There are little tables around it and I also grab a chair to pose my clients. A must!
5. The grassy lawn in front of Dallas Hall
I have no idea what to call this but it’s a HUGE row of trees that are in front of Dallas Hall and stretches down the entire street. It’s beautiful and so unique to SMU.
I hope this list helped you to think of some ideas for a senior shoot!
